gold plated silver medal with silver purity 990.00 as per is 21122014 embossed with i.r. logo on one side andwestern railway logo on the other side as per specification (copy enclosed). the medal shall be displayed on two aluminumpillars. other details as per drawing. 1] the medal with aluminum pillars with high polished to attain the gloss should be kept ina closed plastic box containing the medal should be removable one for further cleaning of the box and the medal. 2] the fittingof the medal in the box may be placed in proper direction. 3] the colour of the silver medal should not be blackened due topassage of the time. 4] the satin cloth which is used as base where the gold plated medal is fixed in the plastic box should bered colour. 5] thickness of gold plating on silver medal minimum 0.5 micron. plus or minus 2% tolerance in the weight will beallowed. 6] inspection of silver grade to be done as per is 2112 2014 and gold electroplating as per is 3266 1982 7] tolerance,wherever not indicated shall be as per is 2102 part i and part ii (medium tolerance). 8] pvc is applicable as defined in thetender document [ warranty period 30 months after the date of delivery ]
